Two near-attacks while out running have made me ultra-conscious about safety and knowing my routes. I did once get lost in a convoluted subdivision next to mine, though, which was pretty funny. I ended up following a bicyclist to find my way out.ShirleyPerlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09237828591170908960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1312523577164758716.post-75971294301487257052009-03-01T16:31:00.000-05:002009-03-01T16:31:00.000-05:00I was about to make Melanie's point - a man not as...I was about to make Melanie's point - a man not asking for directions? That would be spoiling the fun! But I too love running in new places and I too get lost - but it's SO worth it..Petrarunshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08223283092182797048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1312523577164758716.post-81621936168470511442009-02-28T21:55:00.000-05:002009-02-28T21:55:00.000-05:00Very smart! My worst, and perhaps only, story of ge...Very smart!

My worst, and perhaps only, story of getting lost is quite embarrassing. It was one of my few group runs, although I knew no one. There were PRINTED DIRECTIONS and I somehow still managed to get lost. Silly me! I made it back to my car, but a completely different way than I originally went.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16516566884075321281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1312523577164758716.post-6345916885540426612009-02-28T21:51:00.000-05:002009-02-28T21:51:00.000-05:00I agree that running is a great way to explore a n...I agree that running is a great way to explore a new city. Even in the city I've lived in for 15 year, I'm still seeing many new things since running.Mel-2nd Chanceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15040126521403230005noreply@blogger.com
